6 Foods with High Fructose Corn Syrup You Should Never Eat
High fructose corn syrup is not an ingredient that you want to consume too much of. Knowing what foods contain them, particularly those that you wouldn’t expect, can help to offer insight and allow you to make healthy choices.
1.Cereal: Though cereals make for a convenient and fast breakfast or meal at any other time of the day, they can tend to be loaded with a whole lot of things that you don’t want or need. You need to be careful at reading the labels to ensure that even that “healthy” cereal that you enjoy each morning isn’t loaded with the stuff. The truth is that when you go for lower fat foods, you are often consuming other less than favorable ingredients such as high fructose corn syrup to make up for the lack of taste. Go for the regular version of your favorite foods but learn to practice portion control.
